NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Bamberg County Notice of Hearing Concerning Community Needs and Priorities
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM, in the County Courthouse Annex – Isaiah Odom Building (1234 North Street, Bamberg, SC 29003), Bamberg County will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on community needs and priorities for housing, public facilities, and economic development. At this public hearing, Bamberg County will conduct its annual community needs assessment, addressing development activities that may be undertaken to meet identified needs, including the estimated amount proposed to be used for activities benefiting persons of low and moderate income.
This public hearing and the matters to be discussed are subject to the provisions of the Citizens Participation Plan, developed in anticipation of participation in the State of South Carolina’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the Federal HUD HOME program, providing for the participation of the citizens of Bamberg County in the planning and implementation of community and economic development projects which will involve HUD funds. The Citizen Participation Plan is available for review at the Bamberg County Courthouse Annex, located at 1234 North Street, Bamberg, SC 29003, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., during regular business hours.
