MISSION:

Bamberg County Mission:

To ensure every eligible citizen is registered to vote, to administer fair, impartial, and secure elections, and to guarantee that every valid vote is accurately counted. 

Department Functions

• Register all qualified Bamberg County citizens to vote.
• Determine the qualifications of all applicants and assign proper voting precinct and voting districts.
• Issue new/duplicate voter registration certificates.
• Certify copies of registration records.
• Maintain county voter registration records to the State Election Commission.
• Provide absentee and early voting services.
• Validate signatures from petitions for candidates, political parties and requests for referenda.
