Re: Town of Govan Celebrates Kids in Parks with New TRACK Trail e-Adventure
Govan, South Carolina (2026) — The Town of Govan proudly unveiled its new Kids in Parks TRACK Trail e-Adventure, an exciting outdoor educational experience created to encourage children and families to explore, learn, and enjoy the great outdoors. The unveiling brought together community leaders, families, and supporters committed to creating healthy, educational, and positive opportunities for Govan's children. The interactive eAdventure lets young explorers engage with nature while learning about their surroundings through fun, family-friendly activities.
“This new Kids in Parks e-Adventure is a wonderful addition to our town and a meaningful investment in our children,” said Govan Mayor Wilma Edmonds. “We want our young people and their families to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and discover that learning can happen everywhere, even along a trail. We are proud to bring this opportunity to Govan.”
Councilwoman Willie Mae Daniels also celebrated the unveiling and its potential impact on local families. “Our children deserve safe and exciting opportunities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and healthy living,” Daniels said. “This e-Adventure gives families another reason to spend quality time together while exploring the natural beauty of our community. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this vision a reality.”
