Salary Range: $26,928 Minimum - $41,738 Maximum (Grade 19)
Applications are being accepted in the Human Resources Office, Bamberg County Courthouse Annex, for the position of VICTIM ADVOCATE COORDINATOR for Bamberg County Sheriff Department. Qualified applicants must have a college degree and/or three to five years experience in a human service field, familiarity with the criminal justice system, community resources, and must be computer literate, excellent skills in organization and communication. The applicant must be 21 years of age or older, and possess a valid S.C. Driver's License. A medical examination is required for employment. The starting salary range (Grade 19) is $26,928 (min) - $41,738 (max). Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Person hired will be responsible for offering information and support to victims and witnesses of violent crimes, to reduce anxiety and isolation and act as an advocate through the criminal justice system.

VOTER REGISTRATION/ELECTION DIRECTOR
Bamberg County Department of Voter Registration/Election
Salary Range: $30,188 Minimum - $46,791 Maximum (Grade 25)
Bamberg County is seeking a VOTER REGISTRATION/ELECTION DIRECTOR. Qualified applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in business or other related field preferred and five (5) years’ experience in election and voter registration activities. The Voter Registration/Election Director, organizes and manages County voter registration procedures following current election laws. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all citizens registered to vote in Bamberg County. Manages office operations and formulates department policies and procedures with the assistance of a Board. The person hired will be responsible for registering qualified County citizens to vote in primary and general elections according to precincts and district lines. Complete and supply voter registration cards. Handle absentee voter applications and procedures. Issue and secure absentee ballots. Keep abreast of current election laws and procedures. Plan and conduct Voter Registration Board meetings as necessary. Interact and communicate with County Administrator and other County employees, Board members, the general public, State Election Commission personnel, elected officials, municipal employees, news media, poll workers, etc. Applications and resumes will be will be accepted until position is filled.
